Feminism , the belief in social, economic, and political equality of the sexes. Although largely originating in the West, feminism is manifested worldwide and is represented by various institutions committed to activity on behalf of women's rights and interests. So it originated in the western world where women's rights were demolished or not valued so to upraise them the movement was started around the 18th century onwards. It was totally acceptable at that time because women were exploited by the men as muscle power at that time played a huge role in day-to-day life thus they were not able to cope up with their surroundings leading to exploitation.
