THE SONG BY GOD

 "THE SONG BY GOD"

-Ankush

The Shrimad Bhagavad Gita often referred to as the Gita, is a 700-verse Hindu scripture that is part of the epic Mahabharata, dated to the first millennium BCE. It is considered to be one of the main holy scriptures of Sanatana dharma(used to depict "eternal").

Quite an intro for the great scripture although I am not the right person to interpret the book however coming to my own views on the book till the fourth chapter of the book transcendental knowledge (Gyan karma sanyas yoga).

This is not a commentary or a modern interpretation of the Bhagavad Gītā. It's the re-speaking, the revival of the supreme secret of the Gītā from the consciousness of the rare living incarnation which embodies the very science and experience of the Gītā.

The book tells us about spirituality. According to my interpretation spirituality is not only encountering celestial bodies or supernatural things. It's all about how we transform our living, our perspective, and our world view. our outlook towards relationships, towards our objectives.

How will we transform our approach towards all stumbling blocks?

That experience is more to me as being a spiritual being rather than encountering celestial beings or any occult kind of experiences. Thus, the life-transforming journey is more spiritual to me than all phenomenal incidents.

Let's remove the religious aspect from the book so that it can be open to all constituents of our society. The setting for the Bhagavad Gītā starts in Kurukshetra where Arjuna is set on the battlefield with a dilemma (it's like "to do or not to do", "to be or not to be") with all sorts of confusion. The book starts with confusion and no predefined meaning.

Krishna becomes the mentor and guides a way out for Arjuna awaring about the prime duties and the dilemmas (how to deal with them). Krishna empowers Arjuna to make his own choices. He acts only as a facilitator. He posits the very basis of karma to Arjuna. Thus, this signifies to us that we need to fight our own battles the way can only be determined by the mentors but the courage to obtain that is in the inner penance.

we need to know that we are way more powerful than our problems and our sorrow. The challenges are smaller than us, the heartbreaks are as painful as they are but still smaller than us!!! we have the capacity to overcome them.

Here does the book helps us to recognize our true self, builds confidence and fortitude in us.

One of the few lessons that inspire me all the time is a verse from chapter 2 that tells us about the seasons that come and goes. Thus, teaches us gratitude and learning from nature.

It tells us that we need to perform our tasks and duties in every condition like in hardships both physical and mental. we need to know the deal with both failures and successes because both of them distract our ethnicity.

Another one is to find divinity. we really don't need a place of worship to search for divinity (however it soothes our mind and soul providing atmosphere) rather we need to widen our views on our surroundings in people, customs, places, and their actions. This can help us all to get salvation and appraisal of everyone's actions.

The book literally has many interpretations for every verse. I tried to share my view on this divine, inspiring and optimistic book. Because we all have our own perceptions and according to me we can all widen up our perspectives by diving deep into books, videos, and theories.
